I remember seeing a few things about iOS apps for iPOD Touch / iPhone / iPAD..... the programming language is called "coco" / "cocoa" if I remember correctly, and the developers website for it can be found at:

For ANDROID apps:
http://developer.android.com/guide/index.html
http://appinventor.googlelabs.com/about/
http://code.google.com/android/

For FACEBOOK apps:
http://developers.facebook.com/

For SYMBIAN based smartphones (e.g. Nokia's):
http://symbian.nokia.com/
