Why are some guys so?

So protective? I dont know about other guys but my boyfriend is very protective type of person, i guess. Even if i post my pictures on facebook, he would asked me why i did that? I would replied to him, cause it's my facebook. Whats wrong with that? He would just says, it's nothing. I would pinched his cheeks and ask, tell me or else. He then spills it saying he doesnt like the idea of me exposing myself to others and needing other people to see me or give attention to me since i have him.
