How can i make more friends on facebook?

There are several ways to accumulate more FB friends that I can think of:

1. When you first log onto FB, in the upper right hand corner, there is "suggestions" section. Here FB will suggest people you may know based on mutual friends.

2. On the right hand side of the home page there is another section entitled "connect with friends". Here you can use the contact importer. This goes through your email contacts and sees if any of them are on FB.

Also, if your intent is to meet new people on FB, I would recommend setting your profile to "public" which allows any user to see your page. This way users can learn a bit about you first and may feel more inclined to send you a friend request.
