It could be that the picture you saw on the Plasco page was called exactly the same as the profile picture's thumbnail. Therefore your browser might not re-download something with the same name. If it happens to more than one profile i have no answer.
I would try deleting the log, cache and cookies of the internet-browser you are using. Firefox - Ctrl+Shift+Delete... Big Grin
