what's with the facebook new privacy settings? i can't hide my friend list or fan pages?

You can block your friends from being seen:

Go to your Profile Page

Scroll down to the Friends Box on the left hand-side

Click on the pencil shape in the corner

Uncheck "show my friends in my profile"

Life is good again!
