Is this the first signs of a controlling bf or do all guys get defensive like this?

Hi Flo, I don't think you can class this as controlling, it's just that he gets a little jealous, when you talk to other guys. It's no big deal, and what you should do is to try and make him understand that what you're doing is just talking to a friend and nothing more. He has to realise that although you're his girlfriend, there will be times when you wish to talk to another guy. I'm sure he will come around when you tell him that talking to other guys, is not going to lessen your feelings about him. He's the one that you like the best, and that's why he is your boyfriend. It might not get through to him on the first attempt, but if you keep reassuring him, then I guess you'll get him round to your way of thinking.
