Overprotective and Overly Involved Mom?

Your mom has a mental problem by what I have read here. She should not be reading your facebook all the time and pretending to be you when she writes them. That is morally wrong. And if your dad and grandparents can't see that or understand that concept. Then there dumb like a rock. She acts like she is trying to be your age and compete for attention. She needs to focus on her life and hang around her own peers not hang around your peers for goodness sake.

I am sorry you had all these issues. And I assume now your in college by what you indicate. If she bothers you tell her your busy doing school work and don't have time right now for the issue. But will get back soon to her when you can break away. Sounds like also that your mom doesn't want to loose her baby and try's to treat you like a baby because she knows your a adult now and doesn't want you to leave the nest. Your solution is your going to have to be tuff and tell her mom look I am not no longer a baby. I am a adult. I have to make decisions on my own. And do things on my own. If I need help on a issue I would be more happy enough to ask you or dad. Please respect me in my wishes and give me my space. Tell her also That in time you will leave the house and have your own place and a real good job down the line when you get your education and degree and graduate.Tell her you can't have me forever. I will have a life of my own like you did in time. See what she says to that concept. Good luck and be firm about your rights and ways.
