It isn't awkward. Its time for you to make a choice. You need to break up with your bf and date the other one. Its simple. Otherwise you're leading them both on and that's worse. Be nice. Be kind. Be soft.

Don't just dump the guy without a thought. It seems like he cares.

I'm sorry you have to choose between two good things, but I think you have your answer in your question.
