I'm 14, allowed to have Facebook but my mom wants the password!?

Make the account, give her the password. That will give her the feeling she can trust you. Don't do anything stupid on facebook. Don't post anything stupid, or embarrassing (this is a good rule, no mather how old you are). When you write privately about stuff with your friends, don't write anything she can't read.
The few times she will be bothered to check, she won't find anything interesting. You get to follow you friends news, communicate and make your mother happy. All the chat is logged, so she can read it. If you want to chat via FB, don't write anything she can't read. If you do need to write private stuff, use your phone. |
