Post interesting tweets.
Interesting/funny/true/inspirational tweets are usually re tweeted by many and it spreads pretty fast. Once a person who has over a million followers re tweets something of yours, then you hit the jackpot. Share your twitter page on places that talk about twitter (if you post it on a comment on YouTube video about cats, i don't think anyone will like it.) Like Facebook, YouTube, all that stuff. And make sure you say you'll follow back (it doesn't matter if you do or not. They'll follow you and forget haha)
