Well, yeah. All facebook information is stored in the website's own database. Just because you deactivate an account doesn't mean it's deleted. Their system keeps everything from deactived accounts still stored away so that people can, like you mentioned, come back to their previously deactivated account and retrieve old information.
To actually delete your facebook account (or the closest thing to it), I think you would have to individually delete each and every picture and remove each and every friend on your list. |
