I want to block someone on Facebook so that it seems like I've deleted my own Facebook. Would that work?

It is so easy. First open your friend's profile, then there is a gear icon just right side of the cover photo. Click that gear icon. There will open a list downward. Click on report/block. There will appear a window which have several options. Choose one of them and click continue.
