It is good that you are concerned for the well being of others instead of yourself but I fear that there is nothing that you can do. She made her own decisions and ergo she knows full well of the consequences involved, i believe that people are motivated by self-interest. She wouldn't make a decision that she wouldn't like. Let her find out the answers she seeks for herself and then she will then decide whether she will change or continue to engage in what people normally consider extreme behavior. Freedom of choice, she will realize something and find the answers to her questions hopefully, just give her time and be there for her when she needs your the most not as a friend but as a moral human being. I wish you and your friend all the best and continue to listen to your soul
