Am I overanalyzing? Ex wants to be friends? I'm confused?

So 2 days ago I posted a long story explaining that I pretty much broke up with my now ex-girlfriend.

Here is the scenario, I told her I never wanted to speak to her again because she broke my trust (she didn't cheat on me), but I haven't been able to stop thinking about her and just deep inside want to be with her.

She said she wants to start fresh and I asked her how? She said by being friends. And I told her it would be weird if we were to be JUST friends with no affection whatsoever and it's not what I wanted. And if we can be friends and still do these things, THEN I am cool with taking things slow and see from there. She said Ok I agree.

Anyways I'm just confused. She says this "I did love you and I still do but my feelings have changed after this. Not saying I don't love you cause I do but I'm just holding back and being cautious".

I just don't get it? If someone loved you, wouldn't they say... Hey is there anyway we can work things out or maybe sit down and talk somewhere to see if we can get back together? It just seems weird that she is willing to accept a friendship so easily.

Am I overanalyzing? What do you think?
