memorialized facebook page - can see old status updates?

When a Facebook page is memorialized, the policy is as follows "We try to protect the deceased's privacy by removing sensitive information such as contact information and status updates. Does this mean that you can not see old status updates the deceased made the past? whether they were updates on their own or other's walls?
