Agreed with Archer.

"We don't need to know....etc." Un-true. They are partly to blame, but we brought this upon ourselves. Maybe you don't like to know about who just checked herself into rehab, etc. But most people in this society love to hear about this, and as for Twitter, etc. I agree with you, but the average person would not. We crave learning about the newest celeb, what he/she is doing, etc. It's technically not the media's fault, what else would we be doing with our lives if they weren't here to entertain us? (jokes)
