You can feel sorry all you want but you have no control over the situation, it's the family's decision now. Everything we know is "hearsay" anyway.

I don't think it's necessarily a religious thing, I think it's more that they don't trust the hospital or their diagnosis.

If you don't want to support them, then don't. Simple.
