I'm so confused about going into college. Help?
Thing is, I have now come of age to actually apply and attend a college (think of a college that is affordable for a lowish medium income family, not Harvard) and I know what I want to be in life, but I don't know if it's what is the smart thing to do. I want to major in the Education and Social Studies fields because I want to eventually find myself as a high school Social Studies teacher. I just want to know if that specific field would be enough to support myself and a small family.

Any thoughts?
I live in Alaska. I will most likely go to a college called UAF.
