As far as I'm concerned Thatcher got shown the respect she deserved, very little. I would never go through that public fiasco for a loved ones funeral.It was just a media opportunity for many and the majority of people including tory votes didn't want to pay for it I have more respect for myself and my loved ones to make a show of such a solemn occasion.
