Is social class dead? Arguments? Theorists? Examples?

Right I was wondering, whether social class was dead?
- I know there is arguments to say that it is, and arguments to say that it isn't.

But I was wondering whether people could post what these arguments are, they can be brief I just sorta would like to know the basic argument, theorist names and examples.

Obviously the more you can provide, the more likely I will choose it as top answer but anyways..
