No. It's politicians' fault. They lie to their own constituents all the time.

For example, Republicans do everything they can to block Obama's policies from being implemented, and then they spread lies about how the current state of the country is all Obama's fault as if they did nothing to stand in the way of Obama's agenda.

I think it's time conservatives started holding Republicans accountable the same way they demand we hold Democrats accountable. I mean, they bash Hillary Clinton non-stop for 4 dead Americans in Benghazi, yet they give the Bush administration a free pass for letting over 500 times as many Americans die on 9/11 and letting over 1000 times as many Americans die in an unnecessary invasion of Iraq. You can claim terrorists killed those Americans and not the Bush administration, but then the same is true about the Americans who died in Benghazi, too.
