How do I send an Instagram verification email?

So, I went on Instagram and my account was logged out even though I know I was still logged in. I tried to log in and it said that they changed my password for my security and to click 'Forgot password?'

When I clicked 'Forgot password?' it asked me to find my account by using my username or email. For either one, when I click 'Send verification email' it says 'Email not sent, please try again in a moment.' I also tried to log in with Facebook but it says 'Email not found.'

I would really like to have my instagram account, @emilystasiukk , back.
