Why not privatize Social Security?
Do you see the math tsunami that is about to hit the books as people live longer and the baby boomers retire?

The bad economy in the last few years, would not have erased the gains in the stock market of the people who started saving for retirement the moment they hit the workforce. They would still be far, far ahead of the Social Security calculated monthly benefits.
