If a celebrity is not liked by public, why do they still get publicity/money?
For example, Miley Cyrus. I keep hearing about her all the time and yet most of the world dislikes her now.

If someone is not liked by public, wouldn't their popularity diminish instead of getting millions of Youtube views for their videos?
