Is it safe for a 13 (almost 14) year old (me) to have his last name on the internet?

Never put information on the internet that would enable people to identify or locate you. Always use an alias, or only your first name, like I do. It's dangerous even for adults not to follow safe-surfing rules. There are a lot of pedophiles, scammers, con-artists, psychopaths, phishers, data miners and other scum on the internet. Keep personal information about yourself off of it, or you could be taken advantage of.

Read and memorize these rules of safe surfing. As you will see, Rule No. 1 is NEVER to use your full name. EVER:

The internet is a very dangerous place, even for adults who know what they are doing. Protect yourself and your privacy at all costs.

I'd really hate to hear that anything bad ever happened to you because you were not careful about using the internet. Imagine how your folks would feel.

Hope this helps.

Good luck!
