Why is she mad at me?

Hello friend. I'm sorry about your situation. I'm a dating coach and I have a talent for gauging a woman's interest level. Her interest level is very low. I'm sorry to break the new to you but you made a mistake when telling her that you like her. Verbalizing feelings kills challenge. It communicates to the woman that she has a higher social value than you do and that you will stick around until she decides to dump you. In marketing it is more difficult to sale products that consumers know will be around forever but as soon as they become scarce they get sold out very quickly. There is an actual evolutionary reason for this that I won't get into but the point here is that she knows that she has you and can buy you at any time.

The second mistake you made was buying her womanese. She told you, "I like you but I'm not looking for a relationship right now." This is the #1 rejection in the dating world. Let me translate this from womanese to english: "I'm not romantically interested in you and will never want to be in a relationship with you." Think about it. If Channing Tatum asked her to be with him would he get the same response. Probably not because she would have a high interest in him. You are in the friend zone and it won't be easy to get out of it.

One thing you did correct was when she texted you saying, "Hey stranger", you responded with, "Hello there, [here name] right?". You were being fun and playful. Women with low interest level won't play back with you. She got upset because of her low interest. You communicated interest in a way that was a challenge to her. If she was interested she would have played back or given you a positive response to it. It's supposed to be fun and cheesy. It's not supposed to be funny. The secret is that women with high interest level will laugh at it. If she had a low romantic interest it would eventually make her feel comfortable enough to break down her barriers allowing her to open up to you emotionally(raise her level of interest).

I highly recommend that you start learning the material on my blog. It is a free public service and you won't be mad that you applied the principles that I reveal on my blog. When you get results you will thank me. Unfortunately I have not yet made a post on "How To Escape The Friend Zone" on my blog but I will personally put it on my TODO list for you. You can always get more FREE advice from me through my blog(see the link below) at anytime. I also do $5 evaluations of a woman's interest level(basically a quicker response and more detailed advice in writing).

I hope I wasn't to blunt and hurt your feelings but I tell it like it is. Men need to hear the truth so that they can do something about it. It isn't very likely but you can get her to be your girlfriend. And if you can't who cares. I can show you how to get someone even better. I hope everything goes well for you.
