AGH!! Facebook sometimes..?

See my facebook is fine..but i get updates in forms of messages in my inbox ad i get lots of notifications on facebook..u do the math.My e-mail is yahoo so yeah.I cant even see messages from actual people on my yahoo,and im wondering,
How,or can i stop notifications form appearing on my yahoo,without like disconnecting the accounts or deleting of accounts if u can or whatever
When i look at it first glance, it makes me thing that oh i wont get a notification period on facebook when someone sends me a message or whatever, i just dont wan the notifications to appear in my mail on yahoo
