As a person who worked for a year in an inpatient rehab hospital with post head injured... There is a lot that can be done... With treatment from a neurologist, physiatrist ( rehab Dr), occupational therapists who teach compensatory strategies, psychologists, social workers.
Get a good smart eye Dr on your team- take 3000 mg of fish pil( which I was told to help prevent glaucoma) Plus meditation good diet and supplements and consult with a holistic practitioner is helpful. Plus there are new meds on the market. Don't forget to get out and do recreational or hobbies that are fun. Plain ol fun. Oh and exercise helps get oxygen to the brain Good luck Candice Ads |
