Of course not....
Logging in and updating your facebook profile has nothing in connection with your friends, I only generally use it for the same reason as you do by updating my status, likewise most of my friends added me, and I ignored some of them because I suspected that they would cause trouble by posting spam on my wall. I only have 51 friends on my Facebook account and I hardly ever chat to anyone due to the fear of being rejected, no one with the exception of my close relatives and possibly one of my former close friends are aware of my Asperger's diagnosis, however I've never revealed this to anyone else for the fear of being back lashed due to my eccentric and awkward behaviour as some of my former friends were well aware of this in my high school years. Personally like individuals with a solitude personality I believe it is ridiculous for some socially hyperactive NT to have over a thousand friends on their FB account ,when in fact he or she maybe complete strangers towards them, regardless of his or her lack of social awareness and security. Take my advice, stick to the friends you have and don't add anyone else I have Asperger Syndrome |
