I suspect that all she wants to do is to help you. Are you happy about being depressed and self harming? If you are, then tell her you are - I bet you are not though. If you would prefer to live a normal life, take the opportunity to allow her to help you. She is probably shocked, angry and sad. So would you be if you discovered your child had been miserable enough to do bad things to herself and you hadn't realised.
