What is the difference between Cost per Acquisition (CPA) and Cost per Lead (CPL)?

CPA is cost per Acquisition, an acquisition is defined as an enquiry or sale as a result of you sales campaign. The cost per Acquisition would be the total cost of each lead when averaged out among all sales. Cost Per Lead,(CPL) is the same as CPA, just another name for it.

The total cost for every enquiry or sale.
