I was also a loner in high school, my mother called me stupid and wished I was dead, I had my own clique but didn't feel like I belonged, and I thought I was ugly but I ended up being invited to three senior and one junior proms in the same year. Nonetheless, high school is a very small and irritating chapter in my life.

Your self-perception is skewed because you're listening to the people in your life at this moment. But someday you'll get a good image consultant (hairstylist, wardrobe stylist). and rock out.

We had a reunion several years ago and I regretted not attending it until I saw the facebook page. They still annoy me.

Look. Work when you turn 16, save your money, move out as soon as you can. Don't do anything foolish in the meantime that'll screw up the rest of your life. It'll get better as you get older. Hang in there and good luck and make your own luck.
