I am looking into the same stuff right now!! I say put as much time as possible into it and do as many as you can manage without getting extra stressed. Marketing yourself like a business/brand is key, so I have heard.
Do your stuff even if you think no one is looking at it because someone will eventually; it shows your talent and dedication to your work does not start or end with the attention of others. You'll gain good followers that way. Tumblr is great. Artist2artists.com, artrise.com, artition.com are some I am going to try out. I don't know how they are, but I think they are seemingly worth a college try. However, I don't think these sites support video, its just posting your works and connecting with other artist and buyers to build your brand. I don't know how to make them look though. I am not a success story, but you seem to have a great mind set about this and that is always the best start to any venture. Spend as much time as you can handle on marketing yourself!! Don't over extend or underestimate yourself! Went to the Tumblr to check out your work, I like it. best of wishes to you and the good career you will have Ads |
