While it's a growing trend that people switch from using BlackBerry to Android.According to stats from the NPD Group, the Android OS was the most popular smartphone platform in the States during Q2 2010, with the OS installed in one of every three smartphones sold at retail.
Android’s rise sees RIM being knocked off the top spot, with the company having to settle for a 28 per cent share of the market, five points behind Android, while Apple’s iOS sits in third place with 22 per cent of the market.
