Do you think The Rock set the bar up too high?
You look at how incredibly entertaining he is, and you wonder to yourself 'how does he do that?'. Even his harshest critics who all say he is catch-phrases, can't deny his wit. J.R. even quoted saying he is a once in a lifetime performer. You see how he captivates a crowd with just his mere presence, how he turns the atmosphere with just one raised eyebrow. A person that's just so entertaining, they could stand in the ring and read numbers out of a phone book, and still highly amuse everybody. Yet WWE has not came across another superstar with those attributes. A superstar with the matching charisma, and mic presence. Why is that, WWE's controlling creative team or Is it just that The Rock has left a role that was very hard to fulfill, and has set the bar up so high no one can reach it?
