Have you setup your Windows Live Account to sign?
Sounds like the computer is having issues with the WLAN and is looking for an internet connection. Plug in an Ethernet cable and boot. If the computer boots, then allow to install the 100+ updates Make sure your W8 is activated and all updates are up to date. It's to your advantage to setup a MS Hotmail or Outlook Online Account in order for you APPS to work. Activation → Right click the START Icon → SYSTEM → scroll down to Windows Activation Set up your Windows Live Account → CHARMS Menu(bottom RH corner) → Settings → Change PC Settings → USERS → Your Account & setup From the Desktop screen → Windows Key + W → enter USER in search Click USERS on search results → "Your Account" & setup You will be asked how to would like to obtain your code → Text or an email account For example if you enter your Yahoo email as the source, then go to your Yahoo Mail Inbox to retrieve this message from MS → - - - - - - - - - - - - Microsoft will send you an account verification code to the email address you specified → Thanks for helping us verify your Microsoft account (xxxxxx@live.com)! Here is your code: 8****66 If you didn't request this code, we recommend that you go to https://account.live.com and change your password. Thanks, The Microsoft account team - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Activate the hidden Safe Mode option for W8 Right click START Icon → Command Prompt (Administrator) to enable SAFE MODE at the CMD prompt → type → bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy Restart computer → tap F8 repeatedly to enter SAFE MODE \☺/ |
