I think he does like you. He may just be too shy to fully show his emotions. Love at that stage is understandably quite an embarrassing thing, especially with the bullies around school.

By the sound of thing's, it's like what is abovementioned; he's probably too shy to fully show his feelings.

I had a similar experience just the other day, actually. She walked up to me and blushed everytime we talk, just like you two do. Then she acted as if we had never met. Then we met together alone after school. She spoke to me for a while. When her parents arrived to pick her up, she gave me a hug, a quick kiss then ran to her parents. It was amazing!

I guess what I'm trying to tell you is to try and keep your relationship private; speak to him when he's alone with nobody eavesdropping so no possible interferences can occur.
