the only way to do that is add the friends you want to hide your activity from to your restricted list - you cant just hide your likes and comments from your friends, because the whole purpose of facebook is to SHARE your activity with your friends, not hide it

if you add someone to your restricted list, they wont see ANY of your activity (status updates/likes/comments) and in that case, what's the point in have them on your friends list in the first place?
