How do I handle my relationship?

This may sound harsh, but its sounds to me like she is not very interested in you anymore. She took another guy to prom, that is just not fair. It seems to me like she is looking for someone else, and you are her backup guy, just in case things don't work out. I'm sure she still loves you and all, but she is not "in love" with you anymore, but she doesn't want to lose you either, women they have a hard time letting go, so they can drag you on for ages before breaking up with you. If she wanted to be with you, she'd be with you. My advice is to get out of it, be with someone who actually wants to be with you, don't waste your time on someone who ignores you and goes out with other guys.
