How to make the WWE program less stale.?
How to improve a stale WWE product.
It is time for change. This current era needs a change. The “PG Era” needs ended. I can feel it happening. The muscle guys aren’t interesting anymore, people just want the normal guys who can wrestle, entertaining storylines and matches and unpredictability. It is time for the reality era. Social media, fan interaction, real life storylines. Social media has already started with # and youtube. However storylines need more realism now. Now if I was in charge I would change a few things and this what I would do.
1.Get rid of main event and superstars.
I would do this. Waste of time and talent. Main event might be ok but supserstars is awful and to much wrestling at this point. I think Raw on Mondayand Smackdown on a Friday is whats best for business. Keep NXT on the Thursday but that is doing its own thing. On a Wednesday however I think there should be a 1 hour show, hosted by Renee Young, where it’s something like This week in WWE but instead it tells us results, major things that happened on raw and the past smackdown, has sit down interviews to enhance storylines, special guests, backstage news, rumours are spoke about and loads of fan interaction is involved with maybe a viewer call in thing. Think this would help bring the realism back.

2.Separate Raw and Smackdown again and What to do with Smackdown.
I think they should be completely separated again and have their own rosters, titles, stages, feuds and commentary team. Make Paul Heyman the GM and he drafts his roster and introduces the World Smackdown Championship. He should also bring back the cruiserweight title and Smackdowns own tag titles, basically its own division. The moto ‘We fight on Friday Nights’. Showcase new superstars. The draft was also fun and entertaining. Would also be good to tune in and see the cruiserweights.

3.What to do with Raw then?
Have the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on this brand, the original tag titles and a unified IC and US titles. Keep Cole and King and the stage just now. I think it should be reduced back to two hours per show. Just keep it raw and keep it smackdown, split until my other point coming up.

4.WWE Schedule.
Jan- Royal Rumble, Feb- Elimination Chamber, April- Wrestle mania, May- Extreme Rules, June- Payback, August- Summser-slam, Sep- Night Of Champions and October- Redesigned Survivor Series. Have an offseason between October and January for creative to plan ahead, give them time to plan a very good WM season and the talent some rest time. Most things should end in a cliff hanger though. The weekly interview show on a Wednesday will continue though, to keep us up to date. Have the Raw and Smackdown first return episode of the year very exciting and surprises.

5.PPV Ideas.
Bring back a king of the Ring tournament. Have the qualifier matches between royal rumble and Wrestlemania and have the finals at Wrestlemania. Easy, entertaining booking and good to see an old tournament back. Also something added to the Wrestlemania card, something exciting.
Payback- Have a tournament drawn here. A list of superstars are pulled out the tumbler and matches are made for the newly annually WWE tournament. The final is at Summerslam and the semi-finals take two weeks before summerslam to give some time for a tiny bit of build up to this final. Winner gets title shot at Night of Champions. The qualifying matches can also start feuds, like someone gets eliminated and cost the man their next match in the tournament or something.
Survivor Series. This has so much history and is one of the big four. It has went downhill, big time and needs refreshed. So I say every year, to end the WWE season, I think they should move it to October and mix it with bragging rights. To end the WWE year we will have a Smackdown vs Raw ppv. Tag team champs from each brand wrestle, minor title champions wrestle, World Champs wrestle and a 5 vs 5 match, raw vs smackdown. What a way to end the year, a sense of competition and the trophy of the better brand will be the winning brands for the next year. Also two number one contenders matches, one for the smackdown world title and one for the wwe title for the royal rumble. Good way to end the year I think! Two number one contenders and a competition.

This is what I would do to the actual WWE programming, like the shows, not what I would do to the actual content and storylines and entertainment, that will be up later, this is just what I would do to the programming to make it more fresh and fun an bring the realism.
Please comment if you agree, what you would do different!
