What should I do with my ex?

Me and my ex broke up 7 months ago cause she wanted to go back to her ex boyfriend and I was ruined for few weeks but eventually I moved on and I went out with other girls as well.

Thing is I still haven't forget her.. I thought that after we made it all clear and I got the whole picture and the real reason we're breaking up that I'd be done with her and it'd be easier to move on but it doesn't seem this way..

I hadn't spoken to her neither seen her for 7 god damn months and yesterday she sees me with a friend of mine and waves at me and I was like seeing a ghost. She catched my eye,smiled and waved and I waved back and she didn't let go the eye contact until she walked away.

To me it didn't seem friendly, I don't know I felt as if she was happy to see me and I want to talk to her so badly but I'm afraid she's still in relationship and I'd look stupid.I don't dare to ask her friends cause they will tell her. I can't talk to her in chat either cause I've deleted her from facebook. Perhaps I should add her? Would that look friendly?

I don't know what the hell to do without looking desperate.
