The first thing you need to do is change your Facebook settings to private so he cannot see your page. You then need to go through your Friends list and defriend anyone you do not personally know or don't talk to regularly
Stalkers can come back at any time. I don't want to scare you but a friend's sister was killed by an ex-boyfriend she had broken up with 5 years earlier but he never got over being obsessed with her. He shot her on her front doorstep in front of her child
Make sure he has no way to contact you or even see your pictures online -that can trigger his obsession.
Never respond to any strangers who contact you on Facebook - block them immediately. You don't want him to see your posts, your photos or anything else.
If he persists, talk to a lawyer about getting a restraining order.
