Please ask your mom or dad to make an appointment with a licensed mental health counselor or social worker to talk about the feelings of depression and other issues. There is *no* shame in seeking outside professional help.
Please try not to be so concerned with those who are "introverts" vs. "extroverts" Just be your naturally great self :-) How about joining in some after-school clubs of causes and activities of which you're passionate. That can give you a common ground with other group participants. (Please steer clear of students who "like to party" or use drugs/alcohol to try to be accepted by others or self-medicate.) If what you're saying that you're kind of obsessed (repetitive thoughts) with that girl from the other school, perhaps there is a reason and trying to escape from one's life allows one to focus on someone or something else. I'm not a licensed therapist myself, though This website may have some local counseling agencies: http://findtreatment.samhsa.gov/ and can click the second link. Their toll-free 24/7 *referral* hotline: 1-800-662-HELP (4357). Ads |
