first of all it depends on the kind of person your ex was when you were with him. if he was someone who you would have to chase around etc then he probably isn't worth thinking about because it seems to me he misses you either because he likes the idea of what he cannot have or because hes just jealous of how well youre doing with your boyfriend. and believe me when I say that is a good thing. that is karma. if he didn't treat you the way you deserved to be treated when he was with you then he doesn't deserve you. And if I were you id use this to your advantage, you yourself mentioned that your current boyfriend treats you like a gem, well don't waste anymore time thinking about your ex because karma is clearly catching up with him and hes probably missing you more than he thought he would. I was in a similar situation with my ex, it was the way my ex treated me too, It took me two long years to get this far and I have managed to do that and im with a wonderful guy who treats me better than my ex did.

it would seem to me that youre only concerned because you still have feelings for him. I would just advise you to completely ignore him and what hes doing because its going to affect the relationship you have sooner or later. Having anything to do with a bad ex is always a bad idea.

they always like the idea of what they cant have and when they do have it they stop caring because the thrill of the chase is something they like, that's exactly what it is.
