Plug in the Modem into the Router port (ethernet) and then plug in your COMPUTER (WIRED) into your the Belkin N300. From there make sure the internet is connected (Wired) on the computer and...

I suggest you make your own password (your cellphone number is a good one as well). Once in your inside the router go to WIRELESS and make sure your Security Mode is WEP for 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
