Growing Up/Coping With Reality of Sex (Help!)?

Hi, I need help. I mean I'm still a teen kid and well as I grow up, I start to become in contact with reality. Like I've issues with coping on "sex". I'm still a kid with lots of innocence belief and so are all my friends. So I kinda just can't cope and refuse to believe that people actually have sex everyday and all. I mean if you grew up knowing and believing in such childish stories and fairytales. Reality is very hard to cope with when it comes to sex. I thought sex was only when you want kids and not for sexual pleasure. I'm so confused...sorry. Many of my classmates and teens in my high school already have "intercourse" and I saw many times many of the teens/my classmates making out at school. (Yes, even in front of the teachers and security guards! Also, gender doesn't seem to be a concern. O.O) So I was wondering if people really do have intercourse many times a week? Also, is it ok to still be all innocent and a virgin all the 4 years of high-school? I've grown up in a well-educated family where we never talk about this and I've never even seen anyone "done it" expect in social media. So, I know this may seem childish and all...but I really don't have anyone to talk to about this.... :< So can anyone just tell me a little bit about sex in the adult world, so I can understand it better?
