There are a lot of ways to generate more backlinks, but let me know why?
Google give importance to Quality of backlinks, but not quantity of backlinks.
So get backlinks from content submission ("Article, press release, guest posting, blog posts)" and Video submission especially focus on PA and DA. Ok
Now come to the point how to generate more backlinks in seo?
If quality backlinks, simply submit unique useful and meaningful articles in different sites then share through social media. It's highly influence seo rankings.

IF you dont focus on quality backlinks, focus on only quantity of links submit directories with same description, commenting, forum, nofollow links from different sites, Social bookmarking sites, etc...
