Is it wrong for me to feel offended whenever someone asks me "Are you Gay?" before knowing me?

I totally agree with you, I think it's kind of disrespectful to ask. I mean if you feel comfortable enough then that's when you tell them but for them to ask you for no reason that's rude. Sometimes people might feel the need to ask cause they don't want to say anything to offend you but I don't feel the need to ask at all. If someone wants to tell me they are gay the that's fine but I will not go out of my way to ask. I feel being gay/bisexual/lesbian or whatever sexual preference ppl prefer shouldn't matter to others.
