How to tell if someone ignored my facebook friend request?

You can find out my going to that person's profile. You know that button that says 'Add as Friend', upon sending the request, that button changes to either 'Friend request sent' or will show what friend-list he/she will belong to. If a person has rejected/ignored you Friend Request, the button will revert back to 'Add as Friend' so you will know that the person has taken action on your request.

Please be advised that if the person just leaves the request as it is and doesn't respond to it i.e. Accepts or Rejects, then there is no way to find out.
