How to post an animated avatar like this person did?

You need to have a Twitter account and on your twitter add the animated gif as your avatar there, but you have your pulse profile hidden so it will not work on answers.

To change that go to your pulse page and Click Settings,top right
On the next page under Privacy click Manage privacy settings
Then uncheck the Hide my Profile and save.

When you have done the twitter upload Go to your Pulse Profile http://pulse.yahoo.com/_N25E47KS2ZNAA4WPEULR7CY5R4
Click Settings, and on the next page under Linked Accounts
Manage my linked accounts <<<Click this. Link it to your twitter account -- Twitter -- Link
Be sure to save when done.
Then you Return to your answers profile
click Edit My Preferences and then click the photo you want and then "Use Selected Photo" and submit.

Just know there has been some problems with them not showing and now that Pulse will soon be gone we don't know if the new Yahoo profiles will let them be linked.
